Karen’s Kindness

Karen is my neighbor who is the most amazing and selfless woman! She babysits my son for me just so I can go to the gym and have some me time. She has never asked for anything in return, and offered her help to me when I was just a complete stranger to her. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. 

Karen is in between jobs and lost her husband a few years ago due to cancer. She has a lifelong goal of working in a hospice setting as a manager. She expressed to me that she doesn’t know if she can actually fulfill that dream due to the cost of getting her license. I asked for the cost and she shared with me that it was $3000. She has no idea, but I am looking to raise funds to help her to pursue her dreams to become licensed for hospice work.

Every little bit helps! I am just trying to spread the kindness that she has shown me by helping me without expecting anything in return.
