Karen Slater Funky Budgie's Avairy

I have been meaning to set this up for Karen for the past year and time got away from me.

Karen, fondly known as the Padbury Bird Lady is literally the heart of the Padbury community.

I am wanting to raise funds for Karen's Bird Avairy. Karen has rescued many birds over the years and any bird related post you can guarantee she will get tagged. Karen is totally selfless, she gives her time to help people, make them feel heard, offer support, food, friendship, you name it she does it.

Birds are such a big part of Karen's life and the avairies home many disabled birds which take a lot of time and care. Not only does she do all this for the community & the birds, but also holds open days and educates people about owning a bird and how to give them the best life.

I thought it was about time Karen and her birds got some support. The money will be used to upgrade the aviaries and generally help with the costs invoved in running a voluntary bird rescue place from home.

Karen gives generously to any fund-raiser, whether with funds or time, she is always the first one to rally round.

Please give whatever you can to support this wonderful lady and her beautiful birds in her bid to spread the bird love.
