Karen Scata’s battle with Lymphoma

Hi, my name is Jason and I’m fundraising to help support Karen Scata in her battle against her very recent diagnosis of lymphoma (Angioimmunoblastic T Cell).

Tragically Karen's husband Arie Bos passed after a battle with lymphoma in June of 2020.

Karen is an amazing mother to 18-year-old Siena, who just started at the Culinary Institute of America with the dream of becoming a chef like her father.

Karen is an artist, and a painter, with the main portion of her income coming from hosting and teaching paint parties. Unfortunately, she will be unable to continue to host paint parties because of the nature of her diagnosis.

Karen is a friend whom I met in my weekly networking meetings. Karen's beautiful paintings and outgoing personality made her a stalwart in the group. When Karen shared the diagnosis with the group and that she would no longer be able to attend meetings, I decided to start this fundraiser to help in any way I could.
