We have been on a round house building adventure. It has been with the generosity of our inner and outer community that we have been able to make it this far on our journey!

Info about Kara:

Kara is a 24/7 single mother of two kiddos ages 10 and 12. Kara moved back to USA in 2017 starting over with two suitcases and two toddlers. Kara and her kiddos have moved around VT (a total of 7 times) finding the balance of living off a small budget, being a present mother and the bread winner. With the support of community living and childcare exchanges, they have been able to put a roof over their heads and come to a place of independence.

During the pandemic and housing crisis in VT Kara was able to buy a piece of land and temporary shelter. As her kiddos grow the necessity to finish their humble round home, 800 square feet, is becoming more evident.

We are asking for help to finish the kids bedrooms, finish electric instalation, wood stove installation, and put on siding to protect the house from moisture before winter.

Donations can support their family in saving up for a well and septic system.
