On Saturday, May 25, 2019, Kara managed to go outside and open two safety gates that led to the pool in the backyard. Her parents noticed she was missing and began an extensive and long search around their large and wooded property.
Unfortunately, the Moneymakers were planning for a holiday pool party that day and had lots of large floats and pool toys floating inside. Tragically, her little body was hidden by objects and not found until it was too late.
Kelli, David and a first responder performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took over. She was life-flighted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital where she was eventually pronounced dead.
There are not adequate words to express our sincerest thanks for the outpouring of love that has been bestowed on our family.
So many have asked if there was a way to send donations to Kelli and David. While what they need most is your continued prayers and love, any contributions are deeply appreciated to lessen the burden of expenses.
Services will be held at Bethel Church.
Visitation: Friday, May 31 from 6:00-9:00 pm Funeral: Saturday, June 1 at 11:00
