Kappa Sigma Phi Chapter is calling upon Phi alumni and the Rhodes College community in hopes of raising funds to revamp and renovate our Chapter House. This fall marks the 98th anniversary of the house, and it is our intention to build upon its history with renovations of both form and function to be enjoyed by members now and in years to come. All donations collected by the chapter will be passed on to the alumni-led House Corporation, and the current Executive Committee will work alongside them into the next term to ensure the completion of all renovations without slowing down other chapter operations. Donations of $500 or more will be commemorated on a “2023 Week of Giving Hall of Honor” plaque. Our renovations and additions will cover all parts of the lodge, with a focus on making the house feel like home. Below are outlined our proposals and estimated costs:

$3,050 for Patio renovations and amenities

$3,000 for Lounge improvements

$2,900 for Chapter Room restoration

$2,200 for Basement renovations and new furnishings

$1,900 for Atrium renovations

$700 for Bathroom improvements

$670 for upstairs Library improvements

$500 for Kitchen repairs

$500 for Storage room repairs

These projects are expected to total around $15,420, which is the goal for our fundraiser. Any donations remaining after the completion of these projects will remain in the House Corporation’s keeping for future renovations.
