Kappa Sigma TCU: Stand with Kerr County
Donation protected
On July 4, 2025, catastrophic flooding struck Camp Mystic and the surrounding areas in Hunt, Texas. In just 30 minutes, the river surged over 22 feet, sweeping away cabins and devastating communities. Nearly 110 lives were lost—over 40 of them were children from Kerr County.
This unimaginable tragedy has deeply moved all of us at Kappa Sigma, Texas Christian University. We are launching this fundraiser to support the victims and families affected. All proceeds will go directly to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, helping with survivor search efforts, free meals, and rebuilding the area.
If you're able to give, we kindly ask for your support—every donation truly makes a difference. And if you’re not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this with others. Together, we can help Kerr County begin to heal.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The plan for all collected funds if for me, Aidan Duffield, to transfer the collected funds into a bank account linked to me and then immediately donate the funds to the "Kerr County Flood Relief Fund". This is a nonprofit organization set up in the local area and members of that organization will oversee all of the donations collected from this Gofundme. All of us at TCU decided as a group to run this organization and look forward to helping Kerr County soon.
Thank you!
