The words "Kapit-Bisig" means "linking arms." In the Filipino language , which is a symbol of unity.
My name is Paolo and I’m a junior at Liberty High School. I’m a first generation American. Both of my parents were born and raised in the Philippines before they immigrated to the U.S.
We are going on a trip back to the Philippines in November to help a school in Pampanga, Philippines.
I’m raising $2,000 before we leave for our trip, so I can independently support kids in the Philippines. This amount I plan on spending $500 for food, $500 for nice clothes and shoes, $500 for school supplies, and another $500 to take them in and just give them a good day.
These $500 are equivalent to 28,500 filipino pesos, with that we can provide for so much kids. These kids aren’t as fortunate as our kids in America are. Any basic material we own in America, is a blessing to these kids.
Other than my admiration to spread the love of God, my motivation comes from this one moment I’ll never forget and still remember after eight years.
I’ll never forget the time I saw a family of homeless children with no parents around. That day we took them to eat, gave them clothes, and blessed them with all necessities that every kid should have.
$2,000 in the U.S. is equivalent to 114,000 filipino pesos. With your help in donations, I can bless kids in the Philippines and answer their prayers.
