Kangaroo Island Children's Wellbeing

Donation protected
Kangaroo Island was shaken by the December 2019 & January 2020 bushfires.  Many families at the Kangaroo Island Community Education (KICE) School have been impacted in multiple ways by these fire events, including losing homes, farms, businesses, tourism bookings, and more.

KICE is blessed to have Conrad Tickner as the Pastoral Care Worker (PCW) across all three campuses.  Conrad is a positive, encouraging presence in the lives of the children of KI.  He has implemented a Random Acts Of Kindness program and is great support for children and staff of the school.  In the photo above Conrad is receiving an innovation award for the positive impact he is making in the community.

The government Pastoral Care Worker funding does not give Conrad full-time hours and we would like to contribute financially to enable Conrad to be at the school full-time for the next few years.
Please give generously to increase Conrad's hours.

It takes months and years, not weeks, for the full effects of a traumatic event like the bushfires to work out in our lives.  So, having Conrad available to support the children of KI, and the staff who are working like troopers at our school will have a massive impact for good.

Bless you all
