This winter I have been given a very exciting opportunity to participate in an internship working for the organization To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA) .
"To Write Love on Her Arms is a nonprofit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery."
The internship is unpaid and will require that I move to Melbourne, Florida for 4 months this coming winter. I am very excited for the adventure this opportunity will bring and the chance to make a positive impact in people's lives. Through this Go Fund Me I am reaching out to ask if people might help me raise money that will cover the cost of food, rent, travel, and any other necessities.
Why take an unpaid internship 21,000 km away from home? Because I truly believe in the work that TWLOHA does and the way, I believe, they are positively impacting the world. TWLOHA is an internationally recognized leader in suicide prevention and a source of hope, encouragement, and support for people worldwide.
This is an organization that inspires people to be hopeful, to believe in better days to come, to believe in healing, that encourages people to be loving and empathetic. I am absolutely honoured to have this opportunity and would be honoured, as well, for your support in this endeavour. All gifts, no matter what size, will be appreciated and put to use.
