Kaitlin from Cutie Fest needs some help

Hey! I’m Kaitlin- I run Cutie Fest and now Cutie Foundation. A lot of you know about Cutie, but not a lot about me. My job went from full time to part time overnight early in 2023 and I decided that I would focus all my time trying to make Cutie a real thing and help as many young artists as I could.

This has been exciting and so much work every day and things are finally starting to come together and get to the level I’ve dreamed about. Now with an upcoming partnership with the Downtown Seattle Association and a NEW home for Cutie Fest downtown coming this summer! I also have almost enough money to finally file to get 501C3 certification so I can get grants to open a Cutie Community Center for young artists! And employ myself and others! This is the end goal and things are finally starting to line up!

BUT, so far all of my long days haven’t been able to pay me anything. I am dirt poor and behind on everything bill wise. I work one day a week at a retail store and spend the rest of the week on Cutie. I’m also a single Mom to an amazing seven year old daughter and it has been impossible to get bills paid, trying to be creative every month to get enough money to get by until Cutie can get administrative grants are start employing a few people.

I’m very embarrassed to ask for help for me financially- but I have a kiddo to take care of and a City full of young people who deserve this. And I will work my ass off until I get the community center space opened.
