KAISONS CUBBY BED FUNDRAISER

Hi!! My name is Desiree and me and my family are fundraising for my son Kaison! He is 3 years old and an extremely loving and energetic little boy! He is non-verbal and on the Autism spectrum. Kaison has no sense of danger, behavioural issues and is having some issues with safe sleep. He is going through an urgent response program, speech therapy, behavioural therapy, occupational therapy, respite care and waiting for ABA therapy. My son is a major flight risk (elopes at any given chance including night time) he has been fitted with project lifesaver which is a GPS device for children with autism to track his location in the event he gets out. Which has been amazing! But I am trying to prevent that! Especially at night. I have done extensive research and have found a safety bed. The cubby bed! This is a medical grade safety bed specifically made for children/adults with disabilities for safe sleep. It is inclosed with a one sided zipper, padded for head banging, and fitted with safety sheets to prevent burrowing! This bed is designed to keep him safe at night and protect him from his own behaviours. We are doing this go fund me, as well as a pasta dinner on September 29th 2024, 4:00pm-7:00pm at branch 157 Legion in Amherstburg, Ont to help raise money to purchase a cubby bed for Kaison so we can rest assured that he is safe at night! It is quite expensive, it hurts me that I’m not able to provide him with this myself so I am hoping to reach out to family and friends/anyone who would like to donate and help come together for my son. We will be thankful for every dollar raised!!
