Kaislynn’s fearless fight with leukemia

Donation protected

My name is Trisha Alexander and I am a foster momma. We had this sweet girl Kaislynn and
her beautiful sister in our home for 2 months and fell in love with them both. They are back
with their amazing biological Mom and she is
doing such a wonderful job with her girls.

On August 31st sweet Kaislynn was
diagnosed with leukemia. Here is a little
message her Mom sent me with some info
on it.

Everyday it’s something new, so we really
don’t know. But right now she’s continuing
treatment back in Charleston wv. For 2.5
years. Every week. She’s had atleast two bone marrows, several lumbar punctures, she was
critical almost the whole first 2 weeks. They
had to hook her to a machine to suck the
white blood cells out since they were 585,000. They really done so much im still unsure all
they’ve done and what the medical terms
mean. Learning new stuff everyday. She does physical therapy 2-3 times a week, plus we have exercises to do at home now, because she had to pretty much learn to walk again from being stuck in the bed for so long and having so
much done being so sore. She had surgery for a port placement. And she was diagnosed
august 31st and was stable but WBC were
one of the highest they had ever seen. Not
even 24 hours later she was critical and we
was being transported to Cincinnati children’s via ambulance where I couldn’t be with her so they could work with her. I had to follow
behind.

Please please take a minute to read about this amazing sweet strong baby girl. And consider donating to her and her sweet family.
