Hi my name is Kimberly Hunter and I am Kaila’s mom. On august 12th Kaila and my granddaughter Kelani were hit by a drunk driver. By the grace of God, Kelani was not injured other than a little seatbelt burn and being shaken up by the whole accident. Kaila on the other hand was injured pretty severely. Some broken ribs, severe internal bleeding due to a shattered spleen that had to be removed, along with several lacerations to her face by glass that she had to have a second surgery to have removed. She is now looking at long road to recovery and healing. She will be out of work for 6-8 weeks.
