Aloha, My name is Heather Benton and I am fundraising for Kahea Mathison and her two children Kainoa “Kai” and Makena.

Kahea has been incurring fees related to family court matters concerning the custody of her two children, Kai and Makena. These two beautiful children have been lovingly cared for by Kahea Mathison. To me, they are the luckiest kids to be raised by the most amazing human! Kahea has always worked with kids, loves them, teaches them, and is a present parent in every aspect of their life.

Unfortunately, Kahea has temporarily lost custody. However, she has remained honest, loving, and kind through it all. She is heartbroken and the justice system is expensive. Kahea is seeking her fair share of custody rights regarding her children.

The money will be used to offset any attorney/legal fees and to assist with her visitation rights. I implore you as a community to help Kahea see the justice she and her children deserve. At this time, this effects her entire ‘Ohana and friends.

During recent events, Kahea’s lawyer retired mid case and left her scrambling days before a court hearing.
Then expenses thousands of dollars to just get the new lawyer up to speed.
Kahea is not currently working due to a car accident that happened in Dec 2021.
Kahea was forced to leave her home. She must now rent because she is not allowed to live in her own.
At this time she has not received her court ordered child support or alimony.
She had to buy a car because the family car was sold and she wasn’t given any money for it.
Kahea is faced with parental alienation.
