Most Valuable Providers (MVPs)

Most Valuable Providers (“MVPs”) – Serving Those Who Serve Us

Health care providers have been on the front line of the COVID-19 crisis. These deeply committed health care professionals are tirelessly serving our communities to provide care for coronavirus patients while being separated from their own families and loved ones.

Meanwhile, restaurant owners that employ thousands of workers are facing closure and bankruptcy, leaving many with mouths to feed, when what they literally need to do to stay afloat is to provide and serve meals to their communities.

Because of Epstein Becker Green’s  focus on health care and labor and employment, we understand firsthand the ways in which health care providers have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic—as well as the residual impact on the U.S. labor market more broadly.

To help health care providers and restaurant owners, both of which serve and need to serve, Epstein Becker Green employees purchased meals from local restaurants and provided them to health care workers in New York City. To expand the impact of this effort, Epstein Becker Green has put its professional staff into the mix to better organize and fundraise, part of which is the start of this GoFundMe page to allow all employees of the Firm, clients, and quite frankly anyone who believes in this endeavor, to give something back to these most valuable providers: our health care workers and our restaurant owners. Call it what you will — a “win/win” or simply “serving those who serve us.”

This meal program is about saying “thank you” to these brave individuals and essential institutions by providing food to those MVP doctors, nurses, assistants, and hospital staff while also helping other MVPs—our restaurant owners, chefs, waiters and waitresses, and food delivery people—and enabling them to continue to provide for their families.

Please join us in “Serving Those Who Serve Us” by purchasing and providing for more than 5,000 meals to these MVPs.
