Hello Friends and family! I am starting this GoFundMe for my daughter and her precious little family. On September 13th, she gave birth to this beautiful little boy, Luke, and what should have been the most wonderful news ever quickly turned scary. She had major complications during labor, and Luke suffered some trauma, and she was losing a lot of blood. She was then taken into emergency surgery where the doctor had to do a hysterectomy to save her life. None of us expected this to happen, and we especially didn’t think it would continue to turn badly when Luke had to be taken to the NICU for respiratory distress. He is still there, unfortunately, but he is improving.

Friends, we’re reaching out on behalf of a loving family who is going through an unimaginable time. They are doing everything they can to stay strong and hopeful.

While they stay by their baby’s side, the rest of life hasn’t stopped — rent, utilities, and basic living costs are piling up. With all their energy and resources focused on their son’s medical care, they’re now facing financial hardship they never could have prepared for.

This family would never ask for help unless they truly needed it — and right now, they do.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help ease the burden and give them the space to focus on what matters most: their baby’s recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Even if you’re unable to give, sharing this can help reach someone who can.
