The Oakland Zoo Needs Your Help

Want to join us in making a difference? Myself and few of my school teachers are raising money to benefit the Conservation Society Of California (Oakland Zoo), and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.  The Oakland Zoo is the only zoo in Alameda County; besides being a family-friendly outdoor location; it is also a well-known learning field trip destination for many local schools. 

More information about Conservation Society Of California (Oakland Zoo): The mission of the Oakland Zoo is to inspire respect for and stewardship of the natural world while providing a quality visitor experience. 

However, due to the ongoing coronavirus, the zoo has been forced to remain closed. The problem with this is that the zoo's only source of revenue is from admissions. It has gone over its current budget and was relying on its operating reserves which are about $1.9 million away from its bare-bones operating budget of $1.2 million. It is possible that if they do not get enough funds that the Oakland Zoo could very well shut down forever.
