Hi my name is Crystal. I am here to help my sister along side my siblings Naomi Eliot, Sarah Eliot, Jody Wright, Sidney Eliot and Dylan Wright.

Our sister Melissa.

Not only our sister, but a wife to Randy, mother to Austin, Olivia, Courney and Logan and friend to so many. Not to mention a grandmother of 3. We can best describe Melissa as the calming soul to our family. A woman with so much perseverance, love and endurance. Without her unwavering support, our family would not be the same. Her laughter so infectious.

In early 2022 Melissa beat cancer after a battle that humbled all of us. She was able to ring that Bell and remission was a bright light that made us all feel at ease. I wish my mother could have witnessed this joyous moment. Cancer free!

Recently Melissa has found out that the cancer is back (Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma) in all areas of her body. She will need stem cell transplant and aggressive chemo. She will be fighting for her life.

Her husband will need to take time off work to be with her through this arduous journey and fight. Travel to Ottawa for treatments and not being able to work will certainly have a financial impact.

This family needs all and any support one can give. There is no better sister, mother, wife and friend that deserves the required cheering and support in this scary time.

All funds raised will go to the family to ease the burden of this long treatuous path to recovery.

Big or small, anything will help.
