I'm cycling 3000 miles to send children with cancer to camp.  Bicycling Coast 2 Coast (leaving from San Diego, CA, March 7th and finishing in St. Augustine, FL, April 27th, 2015) raising money for The Camp Rainbow Foundation a 501(C)3 nonprofit group.  This wonderful organization provides free camping to children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of , cancer and blood-related diseases and disorders.  Rainbow Camps are run mainly by volunteers, in-fact 99% of the organization are volunteers, and 100% of the board are giving members to the foundation.  I'll be funding my ride so all the donations will go directly to helping children.

Camp Rainbow provides safe, medically supported unique camping experiences to children, teens and their families.  My goal is to raise $5.00 per mile or $15,000 to support all 5 camps that the foundation offers.  All donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.  Donating per mile will generate enough money to support the following aspects of camp.
A penny per mile or $30 - will provide evening activities for 2 cabins at Summer Overnight Camp.
2 cents; $60 - will provide meals for one camper the entire week of Day Camp
5 cents; $150 - will feed and lodge 3 campers at Teen Camp Weekend
10 cents; $300 - will sponsor 2 days of Camp-In at one of the Children's Hospitals
20 cents; $600 - will sponsor snacks and beverages for Family Camp Weekend
35 cents; $1,050 - will send a camper (and their counselor) to the entire week of Overnight Summer Camp
