Daniel's Ewing Sarcoma Treatment

Hi, my name is Jacob and I set up this gofundme for my brother Daniel.

Daniel was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma on September 2022. Ewing Sarcoma is a rare form of Cancer that occurs in the bone or the soft tissue that surrounds the bone, unfortunately Daniel has it in his pelvic bone which not only causes him a lot of pain but is extremely hard to be removed.

At the time Daniel was leading a normal life and working hard as well as studying engineering in MTU Cork. His hard work ethic shows while battling this rare and aggressive form of cancer as he does not let this take over his life no matter how difficult it has become.

Daniel started treatment in the Mercy hospital in Cork and since has undergone 14 rounds of intense chemo therapy as well as radiation therapy but the tumour is still there. There is limited treatment for Sarcomas in Ireland meaning that Daniel is hoping to go to the UK or elsewhere as another option, there is a hospital in London that specialise in Sarcomas and say that it is possible to operate on Daniel. Hospitals in Ireland were unable to provide us with such hope that the tumor in his bone can be removed. At this time we do not know how long Daniel will have to go abroad for but all money raised will go towards his journey.

The money raised will be needed for covering cost of travel, accommodation, basic everyday costs and transport to and from the hospital etc.
