Mission Trip to Uganda

Hi, my name is Courtney Dyck. I’m raising money to join a mission trip to Uganda for June 2023. This mission trip is part of the ministry GOES; Global Outreach Evangelism Strategy with a specific focus on evangelism. My heart lies in evangelism and sharing the greatest news known to mankind!

Our goal is to meet with locals throughout the week, sit down and share Jesus in a personal way. For the first week, this is all we do. The second week, we go back and follow up with those we shared the Gospel with, trying to connect them to local churches so that when we leave, they have a community of believers. While all this is taking place, we will also be working with local volunteers, teaching them to evangelize and share the Gospel with their peers.

I love the heart of this trip because it builds up a community. Not only do we share Jesus, but we make sure that they are surrounded by local believers to support them in their new faith and encourages the local church to share their faith.

The funds raised for this trip will go towards plane tickets to and from Uganda, housing and food costs. It also includes Bibles for the new believers that we give as a gift when they’ve accepted Christ.
