The 47th Chesterfield and District Festival Of Remembrance is being held at the Winding Wheel Theatre this November.

Since its inception, this event has looked to local authorities, thriving business owners and enthusiastic festival attendees to help fund this time honoured Chesterfield tradition.

This year, we are trying something new!

As well as looking for funding in all the usual places, we hope that this year we can rely on the generosity of the wonderful, patriotic and proud members of our community for help keeping this festival alive.

The committee behind this event are all volunteers. Some with personal military history, all with a great sense of duty to honour the fallen heroes, both past and present.

The money raised will go solely towards the running and promoting of this event. There are no personal expenses, no allowances, and no bonuses to be had. Every penny will seek to expand on the success of previous years, to do justice to the fallen, and to see that this festival not only survives but thrives.

Please, if you can, help us to keep this solemn celebration of our proud nations heroes, a permanent fixture in the fabric of Chesterfield life.
