My Mom and Dad

Hi, my name is JJ and I am raising funds for my parents, Walter and Maggie. A couple of weeks ago there was an unexpected major flood in their neighborhood, resulting in them losing both of their cars. My mom and dad did not have comprehensive insurance so the cars are a total loss.

My mom is one of the most hard working, generous and loving person. She is 70 years old and has been working since the age of 14 ,when she became pregnant with my older brother. 

She has worked many jobs and has never made a lot of money, but she always made it work. My mom would give the shirt off of her back for anyone that needed it. She is still working and living paycheck to paycheck. She needs her car to get to work, as she is required to work in many different locations for her job in which places and trains people with intellectual disabilities in the workforce. She also uses the car to help rescue, feed, and spay/neuter the cats in the neighborhood. She has taught Sunday school and always has a smile on her face. 

I am trying to raise at least $5000 so she and my father can purchase a reliable car to get them to work. It breaks my heart to see them in this position because they both work so hard and are always exhausted, but they have to work to pay the bills. 

All funds will be used to purchase a dependable means of transportation for them.

I”m doing this because they would NEVER ask for money or help. I’m asking please donate anything you can as their situation is pretty tough right now.
