Hello, my name is Christina Rivas and my family and I are in need of help. Cancer has not only once, but twice stricken my family. Both of my sons were diagnosed with leukemia. 15 years ago my oldest son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Having to drive back and forth to Valley Children's Hospital for treatment over several years and having had to take leave of absence from work, put a toll on our finances. My oldest son went into remission for about 6 years and then relapsed. By the grace of God, he is now in remission. Now, about a year ago my youngest son eleven year old Cristian, aka, Cri Cri, was diagnosed with the exact same type of cancer. He is going between Valley Children's Hospital in Fresno, Ca and Stanford Medical Center, where he underwent a bone marrow transplant. We are looking at about an 8 month stay here in Stanford Medical Center, so I have had to again take a leave of absence from work to take care of my sons needs. This is putting a very hard financial burden on my family. Any financial help would be greatly appreciated as well as prayers for my CriCri.
