Expect the Unexpected

Friends and Family,

As you may know some people very dear to our hearts, Beth and Taylor Owens, have recently experienced a whirlwind start to 2021. After being hospitalized in San Angelo with high blood pressure and a positive Covid test on December 30th, Beth was flown to San Antonio on New Year's Day to prepare for delivery of their 31-week old baby girl.

Beth and Taylor welcomed their daughter, Leah Grace, into the world on January 2nd in the most modern of ways - with Taylor watching the birth via FaceTime while quarantined with Covid. Leah weighed in at a healthy 3 pounds and 2 ounces, proving to be a fighter from the start. Because both of her parents were quarantined, Leah Grace didn't get to meet her daddy in person until January 4th. Mommy will get to see and hold her baby girl soon - we hope!

With their two boys, Cooper (6) and Landon (3), back at home, many friends and family members have reached out asking how they can help. As Beth and Taylor remain in San Antonio to be with Leah, the family is grateful for anyone who feels led to help lessen the financial burden during this time. It is with the most humble hearts, that Beth and Taylor ask primarily for your prayers as Leah continues on her NICU journey.

God bless you all for the love and support you've poured out on the Owens Family.

With love from Beth's sisters,
Kendra and Lauren
