K of C Chelsea 3092 & Faith in Action Food Bank

Everyone, I hope knows, the important role Faith in Action plays in the Dexter & Chelsea area with their food bank for those in need. The Dexter food pantry has been temporarily closed and consolidated in Chelsea due to issues with the current crisis. In this particularly difficult time the food bank is in dire need of funds to help keep the shelves stocked. The Chelsea Knights of Columbus St Louis Guanella Council 3092 is stepping up to help with this very important need. For every 2 dollars donated to this drive, Council 3092 will donate 1 dollar, up to $2500 (NEW amount is $3000).  This money all will go to the Faith in Action food bank located in Chelsea MI.  Our hope is that $5000 (NEW GOAL $6000) will be donated so that the Knights of Columbus can give our maximum match of $2500 (NEW match $3000). If that goal is attained, Faith in Action will get $7500 (NEW total $9000) for their Food Bank. I would hope we can reach this goal during the next few weeks. The need is great but our Chelsea & Dexter communities compassion is far greater. Everyone dig deep to help out this very worthwhile cause that helps the less fortunate in our communities.  Thank you and everyone please stay safe & healthy.
