Fighting Blake’s Brain Cancer Battle Together

About 3 months ago, Blake was rushed to the ER in the middle of the night due to seizures that wouldn’t stop. He was put on a ventilator and heavy sedation to stop the seizures and get answers to what was causing them. They found a tumor in his brain that we now understand is grade 3 Astrocytoma. 

Throughout the last 3 months both he and his fiancé Amberlon haven’t been able to work, and they have 3 children to support while also now facing daunting medical bills. He had surgery to remove the tumor a few weeks ago at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and is now looking at another surgery, with radiation and chemo treatment to follow, combined with many trips back and forth to the Mayo Clinic. There is no defining line as to when treatment will be complete and Blake will be able to return to work and due to the risk of seizures, he’s not able to be alone. As you can imagine their family is extremely overwhelmed and we’d love to support them as much as we possibly can during this incredibly difficult time.
