I’ve been involved with the DPJ Foundation after meeting Emma in 2019. I am a dairy farmer, and have grown up and lived in a life where I have wanted to be able to help and support the people around me when they need help.

For those of you that know me you probably know I am pretty damn determined, and I like to be fairly busy. As a spring calving dairy farmer that has spent a lot of 2025 due to illness and injury, out of action and paperwork farming from the comfy chair I decided next year is going to be a bit different. So……. Perfect timing after calving 2026 and before the next breeding season there is a little break to go on a trek in Machu Picchu. It is my pleasure to be able to do this to fundraise and raise awareness of the DPJ Foundation, an organisation I have volunteered for for many years that provides vital support and training for the agricultural industry in Wales. The DPJ Foundation really is Life Changing and Life Saving. – providing 24/7 support for anyone within the industry that is struggling, free counselling and bereavement support, alongside training for the wider rural community to know how to help support and how to better look after their own mental health. It is there for people in their darkest times, to support them in their homes, sheds and milking parlours, and remind them they are not alone and can always Share The Load.
