Trophy Cases at LMHS honoring Coach Fred Lafave
Donation protected
Lenox Public School Supporters and Friends of Lenox High Athletics,
A group of Lenox alumni are raising funds to build four trophy cases for the high school. The cases will be built by Lenox High woodshop teacher, Tom Renton, and his students. They will donate their labor and the installation. Two of the trophy cases will be dedicated to honor the legacy of Hall of Fame basketball Coach Fred Lafave for his 46 years of coaching, including three state championship teams, and winning 627 games throughout his tenure. A dedication ceremony will be planned for the spring.
The 1965 basketball team is leading this effort. They are the first team Fred coached at Lenox High.
