Broomfield Cricket Club (https://broomfieldcc.hitssports.com/default.aspx) is holding a fun afternoon of softball cricket and other fund raising activities to help raise money for Callum, a brave 15 year old boy from St John Payne school who has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. The NHS has been great but there is hope through alternative treatments outside of the NHS and we are striving to give Callum a chance of this life saving treatment abroad.

His parents have shown great courage and strength and have set upon raising a target of £250k to give Callum this treatment. To date just over £178k has been raised through 6 thousand donations - see link below for more information - and we Broomfield Cricket Club are pleased to support this cause assist Callum and his family on their way to achieving this goal.

We shall be running a kids/young adults vs parents/adults charity cricket matches on the afternoon of the 31st August alongside other fund raising ideas with every penny raised going towards Callum's urgent treatment abroad, giving him and his family hope and support.
