Hello and thank you for taking the time to read our story.
We are seeking urgent legal support to hold our Local Authority and daughters school accountable for serious failings in the care and education of our daughter, Willow, aged 5, who is autistic.
Despite professional advice and Willow’s own clearly expressed wishes, she is bbeing forced into a resourced provision and situation that has caused her extreme emotional distress. She has now been unable to attend school for several weeks, yet no suitable alternative education has been arranged, and her EHCP was amended unlawfully without proper regard for safeguarding or consultation. We have been left with no choice but to pursue Judicial Review.
This is not just about one child, it’s about ensuring no child is hidden away, misunderstood, or denied their legal right to an inclusive, meaningful education.
We are determined to:
Hold the school and LA to account for their decisions and inaction;
Challenge systemic failure and discrimination in EHCP processes;
Secure Willow’s right to a supportive, mainstream education where she can thrive.
We know many families face similar battles and feel voiceless. We hope Willow’s case can shine a light on these injustices and create change.
We are covering as much as we can personally, but legal fees will be substantial. All funds raised will go directly toward legal costs, including pursuing Judicial Review and ensuring Willow receives the education and support she is legally entitled to.
Even if you cannot donate, please share this campaign and help us raise awareness.
Thank you for standing with Willow and every child who deserves to belong.
