Hello, my name is SPC (Ret.) Ashley Morales, a proud U.S. Army Veteran. I served this country for three years, giving everything I had,  even enduring trauma from being S.A. From a higher ranking NCO.

Now, I’m asking for help to protect my family.

My father was detained during his immigration check-in while trying to do things the right way. He was held for 24 hours, forced to sleep on the cold floor, with no access to his medication for 48 hours. My mother wasn’t even allowed to say goodbye.

He’s always been our provider, the one who worked hard so my mom could care for us and my siblings with medical needs. Now, everything has been turned upside down. My mother is struggling, with her own medical issues and unable to work full time.. with the government shutdown, I’m not being paid and can’t help financially.

We urgently need to raise funds for an immigration lawyer to bring my dad home. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a real difference for my family. Even sharing this means the world to us.
