My name is Tara Smith and I am a single mother of three beautiful children. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart because my family is facing something no parent should ever experience.

My son, Qwentin, is currently in Calcasieu Parish Jail, and the injustice happening to him is heartbreaking. I’ve done everything I can on my own, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t fight this battle without help. My son deserves a fair chance, and that means having a strong lawyer who will stand up for his rights and fight for the truth.

This situation has not only shaken me to my core—it’s deeply affecting my two little girls. They are innocent, yet every day they feel the pain, fear, and uncertainty of what’s happening to their big brother. Our home, once full of laughter, is now filled with tears and questions I can’t answer.
