On July 6th, three years ago, our beloved Nowell passed away under deeply suspicious and tragic circumstances. Her death was ruled “Undetermined,” but those closest to her know that something wasn’t right.

From day one, the investigation was mishandled. Detectives never collected basic evidence like her phone. They never contacted our family. We had to chase down every update ourselves, only to be told the case was closed.

Now, we face a second painful battle: custody of Nowell’s 5-year-old son.

Since the day Nowell passed, he has been raised by us-his loving family. He no longer really knows his biological father. We are the only family he knows, the only home he’s ever felt safe in. He’s thriving in our care, surrounded by stability, love, and support.

But now we are in a legal fight to keep him with us, where he belongs.

We are raising funds to:

-Hire a private investigator and/or legal expert to continue seeking answers about Nowell’s death

-Cover legal fees and court costs related to the custody case

-Ensure her young son stays in the stable, loving home he’s always known

We never imagined we’d still be fighting three years later, but we are-and we won’t stop. Not until there’s justice for Nowell. Not until her son’s future is secure.
