Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d have to make something like this, but my family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives. My dad, a hardworking Mexican man who has lived in Houston for the past 10 years, was just deported after being stopped by ICE on his way to work.

He’s never been in trouble, never had any criminal record — all he’s ever done is work every single day to give us a better future. He’s the kind of man who would wake up before sunrise and come home late, just to make sure there was food on the table and that we had everything we needed.

Now he’s gone, and our family feels broken. We don’t know what to do. We don’t have the money to pay for a lawyer or for his bail, and the process is so expensive and confusing. All we want is to bring him back home where he belongs — with his kids who miss him and a wife who can’t stop crying.

It’s so unfair that after all his years of sacrifice and honest work, this is what he gets in return. We’re asking for any help, big or small, to cover legal fees and any costs to help fight his case. Every dollar helps us get one step closer to reuniting our family.
