UPDATE: In late July/Early August, two 16 year old boys were charged and arrested for the Murder of Morgan. Getting justice will be a long process, and is actively being fought for. The near future will hold more court dates, many days filled with emotional rollercoasters, hopes and prayers, and constant fights. I ask you keep the family in your thoughts, on your mind, and continue to support. If you have the means to do so, support this page, share with friends and family, or on social media. At this time, any funds received will be going straight to the family to assist with being out of work, gas for future court dates, etc.

Hello, My name is Ava. I am writing/starting this
on behalf of the Lay/Myers family to get the answers they so desperately need.
The family is recently suffering from a tragedy no mother, father, spouse, sibling, family, or friend, should have to go through.
The night of June 9th, 2025, the first son of Casey Lay and Jason Myers, Morgan Myers, was robbed, shot, killed, and left alone in his vehicle.
Morgan was loved by so many. To give you some insight on the kind of person he was, Morgan was a giver, a loving soul, and cared about you before he even knew what kind of person you were. He would give his shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. He was the person to help you before you had to ask, to talk to you and give you advice and wisdom when you needed someone the most, to make you laugh when no one else could, and to show love to each and every person who loved him, but 10x harder.
Though the investigation is ongoing, I am hoping to raise money for the family, to hire a private investigator/reward for new information. It has been one month since this tragedy occurred and we still have no answers. This family is loving, welcoming, and cares for everyone and everything. They deserve justice and answers. Morgan deserves justice.
I am asking for help sharing this. Get his story out. If you know ANYTHING, please just say something to Casey or Springfield Township Police. You can stay anonymous.
