Hi my name is Sylvia and I’m fundraising for my son-in-law Matthew, my daughter Valerie, and their 4 children. Over 7 years ago it was Matthew’s idea to start a small business and he included a friend as his investor. His investor put in the downpayment to begin the process for a hot sauce business titled Don Wapo, of which was Matthew’s own logo, name, and concept for the company. Matthew worked for 7 years+ to repay his part of the down payment. Matthew worked so hard by advertising, traveling on his own expense all over San Diego and Imperial Valley promoting his product, gaining customers for the company and delivering the product. He did over 95% of the labor, sales and marketing himself. So shockingly Matthew’s investor decided to bully Matthew out of the business that is now thriving and take over. This family now needs funds for their lawyer who has confirmed that they have a case. We the family have watched Matthew work hard for his family and not make a dime and he lost his dream for his family’s future. So we ask for help so that Matthew and his family can get Justice!
