Christmas Day 2025, my friends Maria and Camilo were wrongfully and unjustly arrested and detained by ICE. We are unable to contact them and are in pursuit of getting legal representation to defend their case.

Maria and Camilo are immensely incredible people who care and uplift the people around them with kindness and motivation. They strive for the best for the people they love, their community, and everyone around them.

It’s our turn to return the favor and give them the opportunity to defend themselves against the systemic oppression and racial profiling.

Conditions are poor in detention. Maria and Camilo are emotionally disturbed by the unfair and cruel treatment they have endured thus far. We are praying for a swift end to their detention and homecoming with financial help for legal representation.

Maria and Camilo are deeply loved and missed by their friends and loved ones. We are filled with tremendous concern and deeply saddened.

Any and all donations are going directly and immediately to an immigration lawyer to fight for them. Everything helps. We appreciate our community for supporting us in this difficult, time-sensitive matter.
