Justice for Karrie: Exposing Corruption in California

Hello, my name is Karrie “Toni” Gibson. I am a survivor of anti-black hate crime, fraud, and coverup of the crimes committed by the state of California. I’m contacting you to ask for help shining a light on the rampant corruption in California. The campaign is the “Do You See Me” campaign. The “Do You See Me” is a campaign to bring awareness and raise legal funds in a case of a hate crime committed by 3 Los Angeles Family Court judges. Judge Lawrence Riff, Judge Bruce Iwasaki, and Judge Sarah Heidel. These 3 judges violated the rights of a black woman in a divorce against a white male abusive alcoholic who has ties to the family court. A 23-year abusive marriage to a highly functioning abusive alcoholic, a white male. The petitioner earns over $200k annually, employed by Vista Del Mar, having over 32 years of ties to the family court. https://www.vistadelmar.org/about/senior-staff. The state of California left the respondent indigent.

Heidel ordered 4 sheriff deputies to break into the home of this black woman on September 23, 2020, at 8:30 pm. The City of Industry sheriffs broke down her back door and illegally entered her home. There is video of Deputy Anthony Pulido illegally threatening to arrest Karrie if she didn’t leave her home. When speaking to desk Sergeant Moren from the City of Industry sheriff’s, he said that it was the City of Industry Sheriffs who are assigned to the Pomona courthouse. The Pomona court is where Heidel previously sat on the family court bench. Los Angeles court has continued to move Heidel from Pomona to Pasadena, from Pasadena to Alhambra. Each time I discover where she has been moved, the court reassigns Heidel. There is a video of Deputy Anthony Pulido falsifying information, making a claim of a notice to vacate, and instructing Gibson to grab some of her things and leave her home. If you recall, there was a mandatory stay-at-home order. The City of Industry illegally took possession of Gibson’s million-dollar home. Please see the attachment of the Stay At Home Order. The proper procedure should have been a Writ of Possession, which was illegal during the Covid Mandate.

Gibson has endured irreparable trauma at the hands of the Los Angeles Family Court, The Appeals Court, City of Industry Sheriff, Torrance Police Department, the Commission on Professional Responsibility, California Department of Consumer Affairs, and Public Health Department.

The following are some of the harms committed by the government officers:

1. Heidel illegally deemed Karrie Gibson vexatious without due process, depriving Gibson of Self-Help.
2. The home, valued over $1.3 million, was sold without her signature for under $900k, giving the proceeds to the petitioner who has used the ill-gotten gains to obtain another home while Gibson lives well below the standard of living she had during the entire marriage. (California Family Code § 4320)
3. Gibson lived in a bed bug-infested hotel for over 3 years, struggling to obtain relief by the court system. (Los Angeles Public Health is also a party to the hate crimes.) If you follow the entire story, you will learn how the Public Health Department participated in anti-black hate crimes.
4. The petitioner repurchased a home with the marital assets and vacationed to Europe multiple times during the divorce, while leaving Gibson destitute and traumatized.
5. City of Industry Sheriff department broke down the back door of Gibson's home on Sept 23, 2020, broke into her home, threatened to arrest her, and illegally took possession of the home. Violation of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government. It requires warrants to be based on probable cause, supported by an oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the items to be seized. Generally, a search or seizure is illegal if it occurs without a warrant, consent, or probable cause.
6. The petitioner gave all of Gibson’s possessions to Box and Go. Estimated over $500,000, the property will eventually be listed on www.JudgeSarahHeidelisAracist.com. Gibson paid monthly. Box and Go tried to extort Gibson for over $2810. Gibson went to the Torrance Police Department to file a report for the theft. The police officers were reluctant to file the report. Gibson requested a bodycam that the Torrance Police Department failed to provide.
7. The property valued over $500k. Her purse collection was worth a minimum of $100k.
8. Gibson made multiple efforts to locate her property. Fictitious addresses were listed. She submitted a Declaration of Opposition to Lien Sale. Box and Go illegally took possession of her and her son’s property.
9. Gibson attempted to do an Ex-Parte to stop Box and Go from selling her property approximately June or July of 2023. The judge, who at the time was not a licensed attorney in the state of CA, Torrance Court refused to hear her motion. LA family court heard every bogus Ex Parte by opposing. According to the state bar, the judge wasn't licensed.
10. Alex Baker, an independent news journalist, discovered the harms that were perpetrated against Karrie “Toni” Gibson. We stumbled upon this post: https://www.pmjmp.org/post/preclusion-sanctions-los-angeles-show-trial-karrie-gibson-v-james-gibson-iii

Again, this is a request for assistance. The primary request is for help with legal fees and bringing national awareness. I believe this case can become historical, demonstrating the anti-black hate and bias rampant in the judicial system, specifically in California. Many of you may believe this is an inherent problem in the American judicial system. The anti-black consciousness is barbaric. I am a New Yorker in LA. Black Californians have been beaten down. They have no fight. The black attorneys and other government employees are a party to the hate crime. I don’t look down on them. Like the biggest, boldest slave, they buck broke. I strongly believe God put me on earth to help black people. This is my duty, my responsibility. I will not give up until America knows what is happening in the Los Angeles family court.

Today is September 29, 2025. I reached out to many of you in March 2025. The trauma is debilitating. I need help. Please help me get justice and remove the court officers who are harming black Americans. Part of the delay was my inability to attach the video evidence. I was forced to make a post specifically for the Do You See Me Campaign.
GoFundMe

Regarding the GoFundMe, any amount is acceptable. If you are familiar with the woman who raised $800,000 after saying racial slurs to a mentally challenged toddler, or even Daniel Penny. My people are deterred from donating, believing it must be a large donation. Every bit counts. $50 or $20. All donations will empower me, knowing someone cares. This is my destiny. Please help. I need more than financial help; I need help in bringing awareness.

Below is the post created specifically for the request for help. The GoFundMe link is in the body of this email.
