Justice for Harvey.

On the 29th of July Harvey Morrison Sherratt passed away aged 9yrs of age. Harvey was born with Spina Bifda and scoliosis. Harvey’s vital scoliosis surgery was delayed by years and inexplicably he was removed from the list unbeknown to his family. Harvey and his family battled his whole short life to receive the care and supports that should be a given in a country this wealthy. Harvey’s family have called for a demonstration to highlight Harvey’s struggle and to look to raise awareness around how this state failed their son. That demonstration takes place in Dublin City on Saturday the 23rd of August at 2pm from the Garden of Remberance making its way to the customs house quay where speakers will address the gathering. As we are activists who are mostly carers we have very little in the way of funds to stage this event and are looking for your help. All monies will be accounted for and any outstanding funds given over to Harvey’s family for them to administrate. Please help us to celebrate Harvey’s life and to shine a light on how he and many other children in our society are being failed.
