Justice for Hannah and Levi: Bring Levi home to his mama

Hannah is one of thousands of women that finally made the tough choice to leave a domestic violence situation with her son and flee to a shelter. She left with only the clothes on their backs in order to get out before her abuser came home. After 3 months, he found her and did what he always threatened he would do that kept her frozen in the situation they were in.

A man that has child endangerment charges, has spent years in jail, has never held down a job, and is a raging alcoholic, is enabled by his very wealthy grandparents that pay for anything and everything he wants, including lawyers to take Levi from a mom that had never spent a day away from her then almost 3-year-old.

She didn’t have lawyers; he did. She was a scared female 3 months out of a very abusive situation, and because she fled from Texas to Louisiana to enter the only domestic violence shelter that had an opening within a hundred miles, the courts awarded this man full custody of their child without ever even seeing Hannah’s face. Levi is so attached to his mama and she to him. Her baby begged and cried and pleaded not to leave her arms, and now he won’t even allow them to speak on the phone.

This man threatened her with this very thing if she ever left, and he did what he said he’d do. The courts have failed a mother and a child. We need to raise money for Hannah to hire a lawyer in Texas so that she can get her son back and women everywhere can see that you can and will prevail over these abusive men when you choose to finally leave!
