Veterans Justice Alliance is a grassroots movement of combat-wounded veterans, families, and supporters fighting to end one of the most unjust policies facing our disabled veteran community.
For too long, medically retired combat-wounded veterans have been forced to give up a portion of the retirement they earned in order to receive the disability compensation they deserve. The Major Richard Star Act would correct that wrong by allowing these veterans to receive both their full military retirement pay and their VA disability compensation.
This is not a bonus. It is not special treatment. It is about fairness, dignity, and honoring promises made to the men and women who sacrificed the most.
Our mission is simple: educate the public, pressure lawmakers, and fight until this injustice is ended.
Donations to this fundraiser help Veterans Justice Alliance continue that fight through:
advocacy campaigns
public awareness efforts
travel for veteran-led meetings and events
printed materials and outreach
organizing supporters and amplifying veteran voices
We are working to make sure lawmakers can no longer ignore the real human cost of this issue. Behind every statistic is a veteran and a family carrying the burden of a broken system.
Major Richard Star’s legacy has become a symbol of this fight, and we intend to keep pushing until the Act is passed and the wounded warrior tax is finally ended.
If you believe combat-wounded veterans should receive the full benefits they earned, please donate, share this campaign, and stand with us.
Together, we will keep the pressure on. Together, we will fight for justice.
