When a loved one passes away, we rely on community to help with funeral expenses and to carry us through the grieving process.
When a loved one is stolen from us by state-sponsored police terror, the fight for justice in an unjust system can carry on for decades.
Our loved one Cesar Rodriguez was thrown in front of an oncoming train by Long Beach PD officer Martin Ron for allegedly not paying the $1.75 train fare. Our family has carried on this fight for three and a half years demanding justice for Cesar!
Expenses in this fight have racked up so again we need to turn to our community to help us keep Cesar’s name alive. In addition to fighting for Cesar’s murderer to be prosecuted, convicted and jailed, our goal is to get the cops off of public transportation completely so that we are ALL safer.
