Justice for Carson Heath: Legal Fund

Hello. My name is Angela Heath and I am trying to raise funds to cover legal fees for my husband, Carson Heath, who was killed by Iurie Trofim in a hit-and-run DUI accident. My husband was riding his motorcycle home from work when he was struck from behind by Trofim. Carson was ejected and died at the scene of the accident. Trofim failed to stop to render aid and fled the scene, only later to be apprehended by law enforcement as some Good Samaritans reported him to the authorities. Trofim was arrested, but the judge only set his bail at $10,000, which he posted easily. He then proceeded to make plans to flee the country with the help of his wife. Due to the low bail amount and lack of monitoring, he fled to Moldova just 4 days after he killed my husband. His wife immediately put their house up for sale and fled with their daughter to New Mexico.

Carson's greatest joy was his family, followed closely by his love of this country. He was a fierce patriot who proudly served his country in the Marine Corps in Operation Desert Storm from 1987-1992. We are fighting to bring these people to justice.
