Justice for Ariana: Reopen Her Case

On May 26th, 2024, my beautiful 6-year-old daughter, Ariana, tragically lost her life while attending a birthday sleepover in Gaston County, NC. She was found injured and unresponsive in a backyard pool. But from the very beginning, nothing about her case has made sense, and now I need your help to fight for the truth.

I, her mother, was never even told that the case had been closed until more than a year later, on July 9, 2025. No one has been held accountable for Ariana’s tragic death. The authorities failed to complete a thorough investigation, and to this day, I haven’t received an explanation for her injuries…..or how she ended up drowning.

I Am Fighting for Justice

I’ve partnered with national civil rights activist John Barnett III and his organization T.H.U.G. (True Healing Under God). We are pushing to:

• Reopen Ariana’s case

• Hire legal and forensic experts

• Expose negligence and misconduct

• Launch a statewide advocacy campaign
