Justice for Anchorage Homeowners: Legal Fund

We are the private homeowners of The Anchorage Condominiums in Slidell, LA. The private owners are battling a corporate majority ownership that has, for the last decade, allowed our community to go into complete disrepair, including the possible structural failure of several multi-story, multi-family buildings.

The Board of the community's HOA is composed of corporate-appointed employees, with no concern for anything other than maximizing the profit margin of rentals at the private owners' expense. Day-to-day services such as trash collection, landscaping, pool maintenance, etc., are interrupted regularly due to non-payment. Elevators go out of service, major water pipes break, parking lot and dockside lights go out, etc., for weeks or months, also on a regular basis.

All this is due to the negligence, mismanagement, and breach of fiduciary duty of the corporation and its appointed proxy HOA Board.

The homeowners have joined together and are pursuing group legal action against the corporation and those Board directors. This GoFundMe account is in place solely for the purpose of receiving funds from the plaintiffs at The Anchorage. Those funds are to be used solely to pay for attorney and court fees for the group's legal action against those named. The group's account is Anchorage Homeowners Legal Action Fund.
