Justice for Amiliana-Rose!

Donation protected
Hello my name is Yvonne, and I am the Aunt of Amiliana-Rose.
I’am starting this fundraiser for my Brother Everardo Muñoz, and Sister-in-law MariJo Planas.

On June 9th, MariJo gave birth to her still born daughter Amiliana-Rose at 21 weeks. She went through the whole laboring process at St.Joseph Hospital. The staff was amazing, as we all took our time saying our “see you laters” to Amiliana.

After a few days, they met with Cherokee Memorial Park & Funeral home. After a pleasant meeting, and being promised that Amiliana-Roses body would be taken care of, and treated with respect they decided to go forward with this funeral home to handle the services.
Understand, my brother, and sister-in-law have gone through a very traumatic experience with losing their first daughter.
Making sure her body was being taken of care as soon as she entered the world was a big deal to them.

On June 25th Amiliana-Roses body was taken to Cherokee Memorial park & funeral home.

On July 5th a third party contractor came to Cherokee Memorial park to deliver a body; and took it upon himself to throw away my nieces body that was properly placed, and labeled where she was suppose to be. It is not in their duties to dispose of any remains.
There is surveillance video of the man taking the proper body bag my niece was placed in, start to move it around, dropping it on the floor, picking it up, shaking it around, throwing it on a table then opens the bag and throws away her body in the trash.
My brother, sister-in-law, and my mother all saw the video, and were even warned of how graphic it was before watching. Not a single person could hold back a tear.
We do plan on getting this footage, and having it in our possession.
The world deserves to know exactly how they decided to treat her little body.

Police report was filed, the morning of July 16th on behalf of the funeral home.
11 DAYS AFTER HER BODY WAS THROWN AWAY LIKE TRASH!
They were sure to call My brother, and Sister-in-law for every payment they needed, knowing they haven’t even checked on the well being of my nieces body. They called to receive their final payment on July 14th.
We were told of the situation later that evening around 7pm of July 16th
Her funeral was set for July 18th at 10am.
It was already such a hard week, but to get the news that my brothers baby, their first daughter was disposed of broke my heart in ways that’s indescribable.

They had this last thing of her to bring them comfort when they needed to visit her and bring her flowers, bring her a birthday cake, read her a book, tell her how much they wish they could just hold her.
To cry at a place they can find peace, but all of that was robbed!

Due to the negligence of Cherokee Lodi Park & Memorial Home we find them as accountable, as the third party contractor. We want answers from both companies, and from the man who threw away Amiliana-Roses body.

Who deserved the proper burial her parents wanted to give her. Now they will always have to live with how their baby girls body was treated.

We will continue with legal action, to ensure this will never EVER HAPPEN to another family!

We please ask for any support, for paying lawyers, and for any traveling fees my brother, and sister in law may need to do.
As we will ensure we find the best lawyer no matter where they are located to help us seek justice!

Justice for Amiliana-Rose Navarro Romero will happen!
We want to make sure rules, regulations, check-ins, and proper steps are enforced, so no other family has to feel this pain.

Please, even a $1 can help.
If you cannot donate please we beg you to share this fundraiser.

Thank you to close family, and friends who have reached out.
Thank you to everyone we don’t know personally, but have shown us so much support, and love.

We will continue to update as much as we can. Thank you a million times.
