Our names are Jessica and Billy Burgans. For nearly two years, a loving father has been fighting to see his two daughters.

Despite clear court-ordered parenting time, their mother has intentionally withheld the children. This is not a misunderstanding. This is not a delay. This is a prolonged violation of court orders that has now stretched close to two full years.

During this entire time, he has done everything required of him and more.

He has followed the law. He has complied with every request. He has remained calm, respectful, and honest. He has continued showing up, even when it broke his heart.

To date, he has spent over $20,000 in legal fees simply trying to enforce his right to see his own children.

Now, in order to proceed with the next necessary legal steps, his attorney requires an additional $9,000 just to pay what he owes, not including future costs.

This fundraiser exists because the truth needs to be told, and because two years is long enough.

What Has Been Lost

Worse, these little girls are growing up hearing a lie: that their father doesn’t want them.

My husband and I have walked this road with him step by step.

We have seen the documentation.

The level of integrity, restraint, and resilience he has shown is above reproach.

His heart, and his wife’s heart, are breaking.

While the grief has always been present, the weight of missing his daughters has reached a point that feels unbearable. And rightly so. No father should have to endure this.

He has been robbed of time he can never get back. And his daughters have been robbed of their father.
