<div>Our names are Jessica and Billy Burgans. For nearly two years, a loving father has been fighting to see his two daughters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite clear court-ordered parenting time, their mother has intentionally withheld the children. This is not a misunderstanding. This is not a delay. This is a prolonged violation of court orders that has now stretched close to two full years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During this entire time, he has done everything required of him and more.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He has followed the law. He has complied with every request. He has remained calm, respectful, and honest. He has continued showing up, even when it broke his heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To date, he has spent over $20,000 in legal fees simply trying to enforce his right to see his own children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, in order to proceed with the next necessary legal steps, his attorney requires an additional $9,000 just to pay what he owes, not including future costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser exists because the truth needs to be told, and because two years is long enough.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What Has Been Lost
</div>
<div>If you are a parent, imagine this:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You are legally entitled to see your children every other weekend.
</div>
<div>Now imagine being denied that time for nearly two years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That is not just missed visits. That is hundreds and hundreds of days stolen. Missed mornings. Missed bedtimes. Missed birthdays, routines, conversations, and ordinary moments that build a child’s sense of safety and belonging
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Worse, these little girls are growing up hearing a lie: that their father doesn’t want them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The truth is the opposite.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He has been fighting tooth and nail to be in their lives. We've watched him weep at the alter every Sunday over his grief.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Personal Witness
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My husband and I have walked this road with him step by step.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have seen the documentation.
</div>
<div>We have seen the financial strain.
</div>
<div>We have seen the emotional toll.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The level of integrity, restraint, and resilience he has shown is above reproach.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His heart, and his wife’s heart, are breaking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the grief has always been present, the weight of missing his daughters has reached a point that feels unbearable. And rightly so. No father should have to endure this.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He has been robbed of time he can never get back. And his daughters have been robbed of their father.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We Are Asking for Help
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not about revenge.
</div>
<div>This is not about attacking anyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is about truth, justice, and restoring what has been wrongfully taken.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All funds raised will go directly toward:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Attorney retainer and legal fees
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Court filings and enforcement proceedings
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The legal work required to uphold existing court orders
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nothing more. Nothing less.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div>Donate if you are able, at any amount
</div>
<div>Share this fundraiser so the truth is seen
</div>
<div>Pray for justice, healing, and restoration
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are an attorney or have an attorney that could just help him get this contempt of court, please reach out. $30k for a contempt of court is a bit ridiculous.
</div>
<div>Scripture calls us to carry one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
</div>
<div>This is one of those moments.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not about winning a battle.
</div>
<div>It is about restoring a father to his daughters and daughters to their father.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“My husband Billy and I have walked through this entire process alongside him, step by step, for nearly two years. We have seen the court orders, the consistency, the restraint, and the integrity. His character and perseverance are beyond question. This fundraiser exists because enough is enough. Children should not be kept from a loving father against the law.”
